Cleaning Dog Ears Means No Ear Infections

Some dog breeds are much more susceptible to ear infections. If you live in humid climates and your dog has floppy type ears you can count on an occasional ear infection , especially in the summer months. Mixing a solution of diluted rubbing alcohol and vinegar is good maintenance for prevention. Add about 2 mil of the solution to your dogs ear and rub it in , sort of speak Allow him to shake out the excess , not that you can stop him form doing that. Next take a cotton balls and dry the excess. Once a week, and you should keep the yeast ear infections at bay. My own Golden retriever suffers form this affliction. It becomes very pain of left unchecked and unkempt. Keep his ears as clean as you can.
